Babylon Village Arts Council Art by the Falls Featured Artist Stephen Cole
Stephen was born and raised on the South Shore of Long Island. After Graduating St. John the Baptist he went on to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology for Graphic Design in 2006. While attending, he started working at the Bunger surf shop factory as an artist. He would take on the majority of custom artwork for new surfboards as well as pin striping and stock boards. In 2009 he took his first trip abroad and traveled all over Europe.
This trip was the first of many trips over the past decade. He has since been to 26 Countries working as a “traveling artist” selling and bartering his artwork where possible. His travels are a big part of his artwork and will always continue to be. He is currently finishing his degree at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue and planning his next trips with his new wife.
Babylon Village Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
