Babylon Village Arts Council Art by the Falls Featured Artist Steven Biscari-Amaral
Master Chef, Chocolatier, Painter and Sculptor….. has resided on the East End of Long Island for 20 years, Massachusetts born; his grandparents migrated to the USA from the islands of Sicily and Saint Michael, Azores. He is a James Beard nominated Chef and graduate of Johnson and Wales with a degree in Culinary Arts, His repertoire has culminated from his training, travels and work in Europe, Asia, Israel, NYC, Hawaii and The Mainland.
Today, Steven is working in clay, marble, wood and canvas. Together, with his partner Ann Corley opened North Fork Chocolate Company in Aquebogue, February 2014. His current exposition in The Gallery is a retrospective of work that has been shown and collected in Maui, The Hamptons, The North Fork, Europe and cities across the USA.
His next show “Under the Harvest Muse” scheduled to begin in March 2018 explores the possibilities and philosophy of creativity that manifests from the sense of place and forces of nature here on the North Fork. In addition, a series of discussions, wine tastings, demos by local chefs, wine and chocolate pairings with local wine makers.

Community support enable BVAC to present cultural art programs throughout the year to the Long Island community. Programs are made possible in part through grants from Suffolk County, New York State Council of the Arts and through Nassau and Suffolk Counties in partnership with Huntington Arts Council, sponsorships, partnerships, donations and memberships.
