BVAC Call to Artists
The Babylon Village Arts Council (BVAC) is searching for artists to exhibit in its 17th annual outdoor art exhibition. Art by the Falls will be held on May 17, 2025 from 10 am to 4:30 pm in Argyle Park. This outdoor art exhibition and sale will feature local artists in a variety of media such as pottery, photography, painting, woodworking and more. This free event will feature live music. Artists from Babylon High School will showcase their art as part of the Art Partnership Program. This program awards selected students with a scholarship to purchase art supplies to create a unique series of artwork and experience the exhibition process. All media welcome. A 10 x 10’ space is available to each artist. Please bring your own equipment.
New exhibiting artists must submit 3 examples in .jpg emailed to BVACUTTENDORFER@GMAIL.COM or send a link to your website. Artists must provide an updated artist statement/ bio for promotional purposes.
A $25 participation fee for selected artists must be made payable to or PayPal @BVAC11702Babylon Village Arts CouncilP.O. Box 141Babylon, NY 11702Participation fee includes a free BVAC Membership. There is no fee for members in good standing.
Artists are kindly asked to donate 10% of sales proceeds to BVAC to help defray expenses and sustain art programs.Artists are responsible to secure and protect their artwork during the art exhibition. The Babylon Village Arts Council is not liable for damaged or stolen artwork.
